Does it work with OBS Studio and Wirecast?
Yes. The scoreboard serves a transparent overlay you add as a Browser source in OBS Studio or a Web Page shot in Wirecast. No green screen, no capture card.
Which sports are supported?
Baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, volleyball, wrestling and tennis — each with its own stats: innings and count, fouls and bonus, down & distance, power play, cards, sets and tiebreaks.
Can I run the scoreboard from my phone?
Yes. Any phone on the same Wi-Fi opens a touch controller in its browser — no app to install — with scores, clock, period and the sport's buttons.
Does it need internet during a game?
No. The scoreboard runs entirely on your PC. Your licence is checked online occasionally but keeps working offline for weeks, so a gym with poor Wi-Fi never stops your broadcast.
Can I sell advertising during my broadcast?
Yes — with the Pro Marketing Version. It rotates sponsor banners alongside the scorebug, lets you set each sponsor's airtime, and exports a report showing how many times every ad ran and its total on-screen time.
Do I need an LED wall or a scoreboard controller?
No. HiloStream is built for streaming rather than for driving a physical board, so it needs no LED display, no serial scoreboard controller and no capture card. If the gym has no working scoreboard at all, your viewers still see the score.
How is this different from stadium scoreboard software?
Most scoreboard packages are designed to run a venue's LED board and sync with hardware controllers, which means venue hardware and a much larger budget. HiloStream puts the scorebug in your broadcast instead — the audience watching on YouTube or Facebook sees it, and all you need is the PC you already stream from.
Is it hard to learn? Can a volunteer run it?
That's who it was designed for. The control panel is one screen of buttons, and the phone remote means a student in the stands can keep score while you run the camera. Most operators are comfortable within a game.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), about 500 MB free disk space, and OBS Studio or Wirecast for streaming. A USB game controller is optional.
